Advanced Predicaments

In this course, Fred Hatt teaches two advanced predicament ties with his model Briki. In both classes, he shares detailed explanations about balance, body mechanics and build-up (of ties and endorphins) for both riggers and rope bottoms. The ties taught in this course both require a suspension point. 

Predicaments are Fred's favourite form of rope play. Endurance, impossible choices, and playing with his bottom’s headspace are the key ingredients in the equation. These ties can be difficult to achieve without good knowledge of the body and in this form of play rigger and model are working ‘against’ each other rather that with each other, so it becomes important to recognise ways in which the model can ‘cheat’ while always paying extreme attention to detail and body cues to keep the bottom safe. 

In the first class, Fred teaches a simple form of his signature 'Pyramid Tie'. This tie is a perfect entry point to Predicament Play, using only simple knots while conveying clearly the concept of threat vs effort in a tie. 

In the second class, Fred teaches the 'Misery Tie' a more advanced and challenging predicament form. At the end of the class, Fred and Briki share some feedback and extra information about their experience playing with this tie. 

Expect hair ties, crotch ropes and burning muscles... This course is not for the faint of heart!
