In this course, Gorgone teaches a few floor ties using bamboo on the body with her model Becky. She also shows how to anchor it safely for partial and full suspensions.

Bamboos (or any other equivalent prop) can be used to spice up floor sessions and suspensions by creating more restrictive ties. Using a bamboo allows for very fun and challenging predicament structures even without a suspension point. All the ties taught in this class follow the same concept which can be applied to a multitude of variations according to your own imagination.

You can use these simple ties together with more complex harnesses on the rest of the body to create various full suspensions.

    what is the diameter of this bamboo ? and is there any specific name/species of this bamboo?

      For bamboo used on the body (not as a suspension point), any thin piece will work. You can find bamboo sticks at a gardening store for example!

    If you wanted to tie the wrists to the bamboo in a crucifixion-like setting, how would you do it, given the sensitivity of that area?

      We recommend tying with the wrists down onto the bamboo, as there will be a natural gap made since you can’t fully flatten the wrist on the bamboo. Tie over the wrist and give it a little slack so the wrist can move around if needed, but not too much, just one or two finger gap. Hope this helps❤️
