Armbinders For Everyone
HARNESS GUIDES: DIAMOND PATTERN, THICK STEM PATTERN
In this class, Fred Hatt teaches different ways to tie an Armbinder with his model Mio.
When tying an Armbinder (or Strappado), it is important to evaluate your partner's flexibility and preference so the tie is adapted to their unique needs. The position of the arms as well as the choice of pattern will vary accordingly. This class aims to give a better understanding of both body and rope mechanics in order to adapt the tie to each new partner and purpose.
Armbinders are challenging ties involving a higher risk of injury than most other harnesses. In this video, Fred explains some of the common sensitive areas and mistakes that could lead to injuries and how to better recognise or avoid them by making the right choices while applying the rope.
The first example is better suited for models with less flexibility, while the second example is better suited for more flexible models looking for a stricter Armbinder. The different technical approaches he presents can hopefully help you understand what type of structure will fit different bodies, and allow you to modify other patterns if needed.

The logical explanation to how these ties work was exactly what I needed to experiment with them more. Like Gorgone's arm binder, I would probably add a bottom wrap for extra support.
