Diamond Hip Harness

In this rope bondage tutorial, Cait teaches their Diamond Back Hip Harness on their model Gigi.

Inspired by Anna Bones and Fred Hatt’s ‘Bones and Rope’ hip harness, Cait created this hip harness to give a little extra back support to larger bodied models. Where more minimalistic hip harness may not provide enough support, the Diamond Back Hip Harness is designed to be both comfortable and aesthetic, with a waist rope, thigh wraps and extra rope over the backside to make it supportive and sustainable for bigger models in suspensions.

In the first video, Cait demonstrates how to tie the harness itself, sharing their tips and tricks for controlling tension and placement when tying bigger bodied people.

In the second video, they demonstrate how to attach suspension lines for the harness, with important advice on how to spread the load to make the most of the harness’s supportive structure.

This shibari tutorial is suitable for intermediate students and models of all body types and flexibility levels. Please keep your skill set in mind and only attempt suspensions if you already have some experience.
