Figure 8 Chest Harness

In this shibari class, Anna Bones teaches the Figure-8 Chest Harness with her model Nuur.

This harness, with its distinctive cross-crossing pattern at the front, is a modular tie made up of two parts. Unconventionally, it begins with a lark’s head and not a double-column tie, so offering a fun new approach to building harnesses. Although not suitable for a full suspension, it can be a great addition to partial suspension play and offer a bit of support.

Depending on the size of your model, this harness may only require one length of rope (or one-and-a-bit), making it particularly useful for when you’re trying to keep ropes to a minimum.
