Hip Cuffs
GO TO HIP CUFFS HARNESS GUIDE
In this step-by-step shibari class, Fred Hatt teaches a Hip Cuff tie with his model Briki.
Using only minimal rope and just two double-column ties – one of the first knots you’ll learn as a shibari beginner – Fred demonstrates how to effectively secure the arms to the thighs for a fun tie that still allows movement but immobilizes the hands and arms.
This class is suitable for all levels. Always feel free to adapt this tie to your partner's flexibility or preference and to experiment with different variations of these ties/concepts according to your own imagination.
For those who don’t already know how to tie the basic knots used in these classes, you can learn the Single-Column Tie or Double-Column Tie in our Beginner Course. For those who do, any single-column tie of your choice can be used in this class.
