Inside Out: Face-down

Part of Rebound Week! This session is making a special return until September 28.

A bottom-guided approach to classic positions in suspension work

Class type: Follow-along demonstration
Level: Intermediate to advanced (starting to practice suspensions)
Duration: 60 minutes
Props: Suspension kit, safety tools and any other items needed for care and comfort

This class isn't exclusively focused on bottoming; rather, it is a class designed to foster a deeper understanding of suspensions on both sides of the rope guided by March, the switch inside the rope, with VioletBights as their demo top.

This class addresses challenges in making suspensions more sustainable and ensuring smooth transitions while emphasizing technical safety for beginner and intermediate suspenders. It aims to simplify the complexities of suspension, fostering a deeper understanding for everyone involved beyond just the mechanics of going up and down.

We will delve into body movement, harness considerations, handling uplines, transition techniques, troubleshooting, and essential communication skills. Join us as we explore these key elements in detail over four classes and four classic suspension positions.

Very nice class! I like this approach to teaching a position, with discussion of options like harness choice, upline heights, and effects on the model.
