Lexi Harness
GorgoneIn this class, Gorgone teaches a harness with the arms tied to the front with their model Lexi.
This harness is very supportive and ideal for dynamic suspension and transition as it provides multiple points of attachment and can sustain a lot of stress without loosing its structure.
The pattern is fairly complex but is well worth spending time mastering and incorporating in your tool-box as it is a lot safer and more accessible to different body types than a classic box-tie or TK.
In the suspension class, Gorgone and Lexi demonstrate a beautiful face-up suspension to inspire your practice and show an example of this tie in the air.

I started practicing Anna Bones' self-tie 4 video series recently and checking out this lesson it was exciting to see that the beginning of this harness is what is taught in those videos. It is very cool to see that a simple harness can be changed by the position of the arms/hands and be built upon. Thank you for all of your work and the knowledge!ChaiAugust 19, 2021
Thank you for this introduction! I agree with the other commenter, Marcus, that one thing I really appreciate about this site's approach is how much care is paid to the model point of view, not just teaching by telling the viewer/learner to be aware of their body, injuries, etc, but also clearly demonstrating this ethic by introducing them by name, explaining accommodations for the model's body type/preferences/injuries/etc, checking in with them throughout the lessons even nonverbally and without necessarily acknowledging it to the audience or as part of the lesson per se but an excellent showing of practicing what you preach, and reassuring to me as a consumer of this content that the models are being respected and not encouraged or forced to go beyond their limits. I have a suggestion -- this interview was very nice to see, especially with Lexi talking about her experience of being a Black woman in kink, and I wouldn't have found this video if I had not happened to check out the arm front tutorial. It would be nice to be able to look for videos featuring specific models -- for example, I'd like to be able to find all of Lexi's or Miah's videos, because I appreciate seeing how to tie on larger bodies or bodies with injuries or other issues to be careful of. But the search doesn't take into account the video titles, and there doesn't appear to be extra metadata on them beyond the course category, so searching for Miah or Lexi, even though their names are in the videos, doesn't return any results. Please add additional metadata and filtering options, both to the courses/playlists and to the individual videos themselves, and please make the individual videos (or at least some of them, like this one) that are part of playlists/courses also returnable in search results. A page introducing the models with photos (on a single page, so one doesn't have to click through a list of names one by one) would also be helpful. All of this feedback is regarding the desktop version of the website, as I have not looked at the app yet. Thank you!

One of the details that - since its beginning - distinguishes Shibari Study from other teaching platforms is the care with the model and the perspective from the model point of view. This, be it from the rigger or model approach to any tie, is an invaluable resource. Great video, full of inspiring ideas and techniques.
