Mayfly Suspension

In this class, Gestalta teaches the final face-up suspension from their performance piece "Mayfly" with model Aleks.

As part of this tutorial, they also teach a neat gun-slinger (half-hip harness) and a thigh-cuff based on the same principle as their Willow Tie but applied on a single limb for a more comfortable and sustainable alternative to a basic thigh wrap.

The result is a simple but visually powerful face-up suspension that can be kept understated with the original version of the hands-free Mayfly TK, or live up to its dramatic potential with the “exploding” variation of the harness that easily comes free mid-suspension.
