Mini Leg Ties

Fred Hatt

In this step-by-step shibari course, Fred Hatt teaches three simple leg ties – using only single- and double-column ties and minimal rope – with his model Briki.

In the Leg Hug class, it’s all about clever body positioning to create an effective and exposing tie using just one rope and one knot.

The Agura class teaches a straightforward variation of the classic Agura tie, which secures the legs to the waist in a cross-legged position using just a single-column tie and basic frictions.

The Creative Agura class offers a more strenuous take on the agura position by bringing the head down and forward towards the legs. Quick and easy to tie, it’s also quick and easy to release, making it ideal for beginners starting to play with more challenging positions.

These classes are suitable for all levels. Always feel free to adapt these leg ties to your partner's flexibility or preference and to experiment with different variations of these ties/concepts according to your own imagination.

For those who don’t already know how to tie the basic knots used in these classes, you can learn the Single-Column Tie or Double-Column Tie in our Beginner Course. For those who do, any single-column tie of your choice can be used in this class.
