Reverse TK

Gigi

In this shibari tutorial, Gigi demonstrates how to tie a Reverse TK on their model Cait.

Unlike many TKs, which can be difficult to sustain for long periods, particularly in suspensions, this arms-in-front ‘Reverse TK’ is designed for comfort.

In the first video, Gigi demonstrates how to tie the harness, detailing the ways in which it is engineered to be more sustainable for bottoms, from the frictions placed on the front of the harness to the third band for extra support. This harness is suitable for models of all body types and levels of flexibility, with its construction allowing for numerous options for loading, making it an ideal choice for bigger bodied bottoms wanting more support to stay in the air through transitions in suspensions.

In the second video, Gigi discusses how this tie can be loaded for suspensions, with three different options: in front for face-up suspensions, on the side, and on the back for face-downs.

The harness part of this tie is suitable for students of all levels, however, please only attempt to suspend from this harness if your skill set allows it and you have some prior suspension experience.

This is a great tie and more stable than the ones I have been using. Personally, I would simplify it but still a great place to start.
