Self-Suspension Uplines And The Body
In this self-tying shibari class, Kissmedeadlydoll explores Self-Suspension Uplines and the Body with her model… herself! In this course, you’ll learn how both uplines and your own body can be important tools for a creative and dynamic self-suspension practice.
After more than a decade of self-tying and self-suspending, Kissmedeadlydoll has learnt a thing or two about how to do-it-yourself in ropes. From active bottoming through new shapes, creative transitions into inversions, and even a nifty trick that’ll turn a removable thigh cuff into a new hard point, this course is all about making your uplines and your body work for you in self-suspensions.
This self-suspension course is divided into five parts, beginning with an introduction and lecture, before moving on to three classes that demonstrate different skills and options available to self-tyers in practice. Finally, Kissmedeadlydoll combines all the skills demonstrated in the previous videos to show how torsions, rotations, transitions from face-up to face-down, and more can be accessible to self-suspenders with clever upline and body involvement.
This course is aimed at self-tyers who already have some suspension experience. As Kissmedeadlydoll explains, spend some time planning your suspensions, deciding where you want to go and mapping out your journey to get there. Allow this course to inspire and guide you as far as your skill set will allow.

This is such a fantastic instruction on how flow in rope and move through space without getting all tangled up or caught in a dead end. Really neat sequence from floor to sky to floor again. Thank you!
