Spellbound TK

In this class Gestalta teaches their original Spellbound TK as well as a variation on the front pattern with their model Aleks.

This beautiful TK is exceptionally comfortable for vertical and face-down suspensions because of its well-balanced load distribution between upper arms and chest. At the end of the original tutorial video, Gestalta shows how to load the harness from the back, side and front. The same anchoring methods can be used for both versions of the tie.

This tie is a very good alternative to traditional TKs for models who are sensitive to circulation block and/or nerve compression on the lower wraps.

Is this a good TK choice for inverting?

  You're welcome to give it a try. It's important to note that, in inversion, the ropes next to the neck are likely to take a lot of load, which could be uncomfortable or even create a fainting risk. Talk to your bottom as you're experimenting and make sure that you have a quick plan for how to come down if the rope around the neck becomes too intense. You can also experiment with making the top chest band a bit tighter, so that it doesn't pull up quite as high towards the neck (which will decrease a bit how much those two ropes next to the neck create squeeze).

I love the tie - the english subtitles are appearing incorrectly for this tie, and are not representing what Gestalta is saying at all. in some cases it contradicts what she has said.

This tie is great for bottoms who have tight shoulders or nerve issues and I found it comfortable for a reasonably extended time. My torso is quite short and we noticed that the beautiful diamond pattern is not as easy to achieve. We'll be experimenting with placement of the diamond 'points' to try and achieve the look more fully. This is a great one to add to your repertoire. Looks lovely, great to tie, comfortable for your bottom, and Gestalta offers multiple options for suspension points with helpful tips.
