Suspending Someone Heavier Than Yourself
In this special shibari session, Bänana discusses how she approaches suspending someone heavier than herself with her model Fred.
Tying well often means knowing how to adapt, says Bänana, and tying someone heavier than yourself shouldn’t be viewed as a problem but simply as another parameter to be considered and adjusted for during the tying session.
During this demonstration and discussion, Bänana explains how pulleys, suspension lines, body handling and mechanics can be managed when suspending someone heavier than you. As she shows throughout the class, even small tweaks can add up to easier and more effective suspensions regardless of the whether the person being tied is heavier than the person doing the tying.
This shibari tutorial is suitable for intermediate and advanced students who already have some suspension experience.

It would be helpful to see this taught with a more drastic size difference between the top and bottom ❤️❤️❤️
