Tenshi in Transition

Tifereth

In this shibari class, Tifereth teaches the Tenshi In Transition with her tying partner Irkalla.

If you’re ready to start exploring the dynamic potential of Tifereth’s iconic made-to-move Tenshi harness, consider this your new mantra: “Control the roll.” Aimed at suspension-experienced riggers and bottoms, this course is all about harnessing Tenshi’s core features: its inherent mobility and potential for collaboratively “sculpting” shapes.

During the class, Tifereth discusses how to control for the pitch of the harness and the different ways to manage your partner’s body in space as you play with this tie; slowly through line management or, if you’re looking to inject more energy into a scene, quickly through hands-on transitions. She also offers valuable tips for where to find stability as well as how to intensify or offload shapes as you play.

This shibari tutorial is for advanced tying partners who are confident in suspensions, particularly as the Tenshi is designed for bottoms who want more mobility in the air. Remember, this is a progressive practice – start slowly and pick up the pace as you become more proficient. Please keep your skill set in mind when applying techniques from this class and only use the Tenshi in suspension if that is already a part of your rope practice.
