Mie Neko
Mie Neko is a rope switch from the Ruhr area in Germany who began tying in 2017. Since 2020, she has also been active as a teacher and performer at national and international events, while simultaneously organizing her own events and workshops.
Her tying style is a combination of her passion for body manipulation, power dynamics, semenawa, and her very soft yet precise and intentional way of handling the rope. In her teaching, she places particular emphasis on incorporating her expertise as a smaller rigger, while also focusing on rope model education and safety in rope. And of course, she highlights how to establish an emotional connection through the communicative medium of rope.
