Willow Tie

In this class Gestalta teaches their Willow Tie with their model Muriel. This chaotic leg harness pattern is a very comfortable and versatile structure for torsions, face-ups and light inversions.

In the tutorial video, Gestalta explains the structural concept behind the tie and how to tie it freely and intuitively without following a strict and fixed pattern. In the suspension lines video, they teach a few different ways to load the harness to achieve different positional variations in the air.

The same principle can be applied to the chest or to a single leg for a more comfortable thigh-cuff (as demonstrated in Gestalta's Mayfly Suspension class).
