Gyaku Ebi | Hog Tie
In this class, Gorgone teaches a hogtie form or "Gyaku Ebi" (meaning inverted shrimp in Japanese) with her model Joann. The hogtie is a common method of Shibari restraining all four limbs together behind the body, rendering the subject immobile and totally helpless.
The course is divided into separate classes introducing three variations of this tie for floorplay, partial suspensions and a full transition sequence. In these classes, Gorgone uses her TK3 and Fast Leg-Tie but other alternatives can be used instead.
The floor-based variation is suitable for intermediate level or beginners by replacing the TK with a safer and more simple chest harness. The partial variation is suitable for intermediate-advanced levels.
The transition sequence should be performed by expert practitioners only. It is a challenging transition sequence, combining elements of old-school and modern suspension style.
