Hajime Kinoko

In this course Kinoko teaches his Takate Kote with a 'Tasuki' third-rope pattern, aka "Kinoko's TK3" with his model Gorgone.


This TK is designed for safety, general comfort and sustainability in suspensions and dynamic transitions. Kinoko insists on teaching his classic TK as precisely and thoroughly as he would in a live class, explaining in great detail the reasoning behind each step of his orginial pattern.


In the 'Suspension Line' video Kinoko explains how to create an anchor point from the back of his TK3 and demonstrates a simple face-down suspension. You can also create an anchor point using a 'Y hanger' (see Epsilon | 'Y' Hanger) on the side of this TK for side-suspensions.


The demo video is a fast-forwarded version of the same tie without talking. It is useful to overview the harness before studying the tutorial or to refresh your memory after you have watched the tutorial with full explanations.

      We are sorry to hear that you are having troubles seeing the captions. We have double checked and it is working fine in the laptop. Maybe try to reload the page or use a different browser? About the captions on the phone in full screen, this is sadly a limitation in the coding of our video player that we cannot fix. We are about to release the iOS and Android apps that will allow to play captions on the phone as well as save videos for offline streaming!

      I don't know if this is helpful for you, but I have subtitles on my phone and on my tablet, but not on my PC. Also, subtitles do not work on my phone or tablet if the video is in full-screen mode. The PC does not have a button or options for CC.

      You must activate the subtitles by clicking the CC button in the video player (available for the tutorial videos only, not the demos as there is no tasing in these).

    Would this be considered a chest loading TK? I.e., does it alleviate some of the pressure on the radial nerves?

      We cannot answer in place of the instructor, but generally speaking this is not a "chest loading" harness. It is an arm-loaded box-tie (TK), and even if the front pattern will help distribute the load and add more support it is still an arm-loading tie.
