Is there any structural advantages between doing the figure eight logic presented on the neck hug for suspension and the hojo cuffs approach done here?Show replies (2)

In this case the two limbs are quite far apart so the hojo cuffs are a better option than a figure of eight tie. When the limbs are closer one to the other then both work fine, the figure of eight having the advantage of being more simple to execute.
