Tenshi Suspension

In this shibari class, Ropunawa teaches the chest-free Tenshi Harness Suspension with his model Freya. The Tenshi was originally developed by Tifereth and is taught here with her permission.

In the follow-up to his class on the unconventional Tenshi Harness, Ropunawa delves further into the utility of this ingenious tie by demonstrating a full suspension with the tenshis. By lifting the Tenshi Harness to standing and then incorporating a Basket Tie to support the lower body, the chest-free harness can be used to create an eye-catching side suspension. From here, Ropunawa further explains various tricks to play with different heights, as well as showing how the tenshis can be brought to the front for an even more drastic change and evidence of the tie’s surprising versatility.

As with every tie though, the Tenshi Harness Suspension is not without its own important technique and safety considerations. Both riggers and models alike should be well-practiced in suspensions before attempting this class.
