RopuNawa
RopuNawa (he/him) is a full time Shibari instructor living in Basel, Switzerland.
His rope journey began in 2008 and from then on various people taught and inspired him. In the beginning he learned from Osada Steve and Akira Naka. In recent years, Tifereth, Nicolas Yoroi, and Yagami Ren crossed his path and left their mark on his work.
Through these various influences, RopuNawa created his very own style, not bound to any particular philosophy. He appreciates the different forms of non-verbal communication to be found in rope bondage. By learning how to read his partners bodies, a very intimate level of understanding is achieved.
One of the cornerstones of his work is to find and tailor the right approach to suit the unique needs of his students and partners which are as individual as their personalities.
